For all Nautiques from 1993 to 1997

This series of cables is being discontinued by mfg, soon you will need to buy item 90590(cable) and 5205(mount) to 'upfit' your helm and steering. From then on, you will only need cable 90590.  We will still offer this series for as long as we can - please read on below for the normal disclosure.

Rack Steering Cable, for all Nautiques from 1993 to 1997, 19.5 ft length. We offer the Original OEM Direct cable or a replacement Teleflex equivalent. Call if you have questions. IMPORTANT: Some owners of these year range boats replaced this original cable with the newer 90590 cable. When they did this, they had to change the helm base assembly. It may be wise to check the bolt spacing prior to ordering the cable to see if your boat has been "altered". The bolt spacing is listed below: Original Cable spacing- Center to Center: Short side: 1 3/8"  Long Side: 2 1/8'' -IF YOUR CABLE MEASURES THIS THEN YOU HAVE THE OPTION OF S2205 OR S2205-20.   Newer Cable Spacing - Center to Center: Short Side 1 5/8'' Long Side: 2 1/4''- IF YOUR CABLE MEASURES THIS THEN YOU NEED 90590 You can also note the original cable's "RACK'' was square''ish''  in shape (when looking at the end of the rack). While the newer cable is more of an obvious rectangle. The helm base assembly is the part the 4-bolts of the rack bolt to under the dash of the boat.
